Integrated Mobility Hubs for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
INTRO is a transnational research project exploring how integrated mobility hubs can support the transition towards sustainable and climate-neutral mobility systems across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Together with the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and Rapp AG, Planersocietät is developing a practical toolbox that helps cities, transport operators and infrastructure managers plan, assess and optimise mobility hubs. The project combines demand forecasting, impact assessment and accessibility analysis with practical implementation guidance.
The project focuses on mobility hubs as transfer points between public transport, active mobility and emerging mobility services such as sharing, on-demand transport and micro-mobility. By analyzing existing approaches and testing transferable methodologies, INTRO supports the development of integrated and user-oriented mobility networks throughout the DACH region.
