Designing Inclusive and Healthy Public Spaces
Commissioned by the German Environment Agency, this research project explored how streets and public spaces can better support the mobility needs of children and older adults.
Combining research, expert interviews, stakeholder engagement and visualization, the project developed practical recommendations for creating more inclusive, accessible and people-centered streets. The results were published as a national guidance document for practitioners and decision-makers.
The project reflects a core belief of PS Mobility Europe:Mobility is ultimately about people, their needs and their quality of life.
